PTL Objectives, Policies and Prayer

PARENT-TEACHER LEAGUE OBJECTIVES

To bring into closer relationship the home and the school, to the end that parents and teachers may cooperate effectively in the training of children.

To foster a mission spirit for the school to the end that ever more children be brought under the influence of God's word.

To disseminate knowledge concerning present-day methods and needs of Christian education.

To encourage parent supervision and assistance at various functions of the school.

PARENT-TEACHER LEAGUE POLICIES

This league shall be under the supervision of the Board of Christian Education and at all times remain under the direct control of Redeemer Lutheran School.

This league shall not seek to control the policies or interfere with the administration of the school in its discipline or curriculum. The Board of Christian Education shall clarify any procedure, which is questioned.

Individual cases of misunderstanding and differences of opinion between parents and teachers, if such arise, are never to be discussed in a meeting of the league, but are to be adjusted in private conference between the parent and the teacher.

PARENT-TEACHER LEAGUE PRAYER

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for the blessing of children. Help us to see them as gifts from You, that we may accept our responsibility to train them for You. Bless all our children that they may grow in faith and love and serve You all their days.

Bless the teachers in our school. Help them to love You and the children whom You have entrusted to their care, that with patient teaching and the example of a consecrated Christian life they may lead children to love You and serve You.

Bless our homes, that they may be truly Christian homes fulfilling their full purposes.

Be with us in our meeting now, that all we do or say, will be for the welfare of Your dear children and to the glory of Your most holy name, through Christ Jesus.
