Treasurer’s report read and approved. Report to be filed for audit.
Principal’s Report –
ISTEP results will be received in December.
The current school enrollment is at 159.
Walkie-Talkies are now in the 7th and 8th grade classrooms in order to communicate between the class and the office.
The computers in the lab are up and running. There is still trouble with the computers up stairs.
Mrs. Gross will be leaving after Christmas. Mrs. Larimore will take over her pre-school responsibilities.
As of this date we are still in need of a PR person.
There is a call for principal. 16 resumes have been received. Six are under consideration.
Committee’s Report
Box Top - $390.10 was earned from the 1st collection
Tyson Labels – 23 were collected
The next submission date will be in late February.
Market Day – A coordinator is still needed as of this date.
195 pies were sold for the “Pie Push”
A room parent is still needed for Mrs. Durr.
No news was available to report on the auction.
Playground Surface Replacement Committee reported their findings. Findings are attached. A motion was made to pass on rubber mulch. All were in favor. Rubber mulch removed as a possibility. Committee will look further into the wood mulch options and report again in January and February.
A recommendation was made to spend money on portable equipment such as balls, jump ropes, etc. AND a place outside to store all equipment.
Evelyn Baird will look into the equipment provided by Marsh and report back to the PTL.
No date has been set yet for the talent show.
State Accreditation – Information from the board was provided to all present.
New Business –
Christmas program – refreshments will not be served due to logistics. Parking will become an issue between programs.
Dave Galford made and donated furniture to the extended care and in various rooms around the school. A thank you will be sent out and announcement will be put in the bulletin.
We Care Auction tree brought in $225.
It was purchased by nurses from
Meeting was closed by Dr. Glancy with a prayer.
Next meeting will be held on January 14. The meeting will be a pot luck and game night. J
