  • Minutes reviewed and approved
  • Treasurer’s report will stand.
  • No principal’s report in order to allow for more fellowship time
  • The classroom deadline for Box Tops is February 25, 2008

$943.00 was collected through Box Tops in the fall

We collected 31,727 Campbell Soup Labels

  • Assistance is needed for the Lenten Dinner
  • Market Day – A coordinator is still needed.

$325.80 in profit is noted.

  • The Musical will be for grades 2-8.  A coordinator is needed.  This person will be in charge of organizing people who can set up/take down tables and supplies, and contacting bakers.
  • The next teacher lunch-in will be on February.  One more person is still needed to help with the lunch-in. 
  • The Auction Dinner will be March 7.  Notices/RSVP sheets were sent home to families.  Tickets will be $20.00 per person.  The doors will open at 5:30 and all funds will be matched by Thrivent.  The money is to be used to enhance school curriculum, with one suggestion being for a Science lab.  Tracy Brandenburg will head up a raffle for the Dinner.  Tickets will be sold by the students with prizes to be given out to the children for selling tickets.  Specific information will be sent home to the parents.  The raffle prizes will be drawn for at the dinner.
  • No report from the Mulch Committee in order to allow for more fellowship time.
  • The talent show will be on March 28, 2008.  It will be a spaghetti dinner beginning at 6 p.m.  A free will donation for the 7/8 graders will be accepted.
  • No new business was presented at this meeting.

 

Meeting adjourned with a prayer.

 

Everyone stayed for the potluck dinner and games following the meeting.  Families and staff remained until shooed out the door!   J
